Hemorrhoids, also known as piles are swollen veins around the anal opening or the anal canal. They can be painful and linger on for a long time causing distress. The main symptoms include bleeding during the bowel movement and itching
Piles are nothing but painful and enlarged veins that you find in your rectum. It is also known as hemorrhoids and is a medical condition in which the veins around the lower rectum or anus gets enlarged and inflamed than normal. Piles are both internal as well as external. The internal hemorrhoids cannot be seen or felt unless they are severe. External hemorrhoids can be seen outside of the anus. It is an uncomfortable and unpleasing medical condition. But, it is not a serious medical condition and arises due to increased pressure of the external and internal veins around the rectum canal. Apple Cider Vinegar

Pure and natural apple cider vinegar is highly beneficial in treating the condition. For external hemorrhoids, take a cotton ball and soak it with apple cider vinegar. Apply it directly on the hemorrhoids for an instant relief. Please note that applying it directly may cause a stinging sensation for some time but that will decrease itching and pain instantly. For internal hemorrhoids, consuming a teaspoon of vinegar with water, may provide relief from pain and bleeding.


Cold compress

A cold compress will help the hemorrhoids to shrink and become small in size. It will reduce pain and provide instant relief from itching. It will be easier to pass stools once swelling is reduced. Wrap some ice in a clean cloth and apply it directly over the hemorrhoids. Doing this several times, a day will help to constrict the blood vessels and reduce hemorrhoids effectively.


Black Cumin Seeds

This is a common piles remedy which practiced in India.

• Take 1 table spoon of roasted black cumin seeds and mix it with1 tablespoon of unroasted black cumin.
• Powder them together and take ½ tsp of this powder with one glass of water every day
Radish Juice
This remedy will reduce the swelling and pain associated with piles.
• Take the radish juice in the morning and at night
• Start with ¼ cup and gradually increase to ½ cup over a period of one month.
• Continue the remedy till there is relief from piles.

Coconut Oil – 

Apply coconut oil directly to hemorrhoids, rinse and repeat. In addition to symptoms subsiding, the hemorrhoids should disappear over the course of just a few days

Aloe Vera



Aloe vera is an effective natural ingredient that assists fast relief from hemorrhoids. The anti-inflammatory action of aloe vera helps in resolving the symptoms in a fast and easy way. For internal hemorrhoids, cut stripes of the aloe vera leave discarding all the thorns and freeze it. Apply it on the inflamed area for the double action of a cold compress along with a reduction in inflammation. For external ones, just apply the gel extracted from aloe leaves to soothe and hydrate the swollen veins.

Banana

The banana has fiber in it and acts as a laxative. It helps to improve the bowel movements, so that you don’t have to strain when you are in the toilet. When your bowel movements are proper the problem will get reduced.
• Boil 1 banana with 1 cup of milk.
• Mash well and take this mix three to four times a day
Psyllium husk
Hard stools may worsen your hemorrhoids causing more bleeding and pain. Psyllium husk is crammed with fiber, which makes stools softer and eases its movements. Consuming it regularly may help in reducing stress in the swollen veins providing it time to heal.

Increase  Fiber Intake: 

Eat Plenty of Vegetables, Fruit – Seeing as hemorrhoids result from constipation and straining, it should be no surprise that upping fiber intake can help mend the issue. Fiber helps soften stools and is essential for colon health and digestive health as a whole. This nutrient helps to clean out the gastrointestinal system, preventing constipation and allowing the colon to work at greater levels of efficiency. Sources of fiber include: vegetables of all kinds, flax seeds, almonds, pecans, pistachios, prunes, pears, and beans. Include these foods in your diet while trying the other home remedies for hemorrhoids.


Exercise and Lose Weight

 Being overweight or obese, along with being highly inactive, is the perfect path for a complete decline in health. If you aren’t a healthy weight and aren’t moving, your organs and internal system as a whole becomes sluggish and works at low levels. Start exercising and losing weight to fix the problem and keep your digestive tract working.

Hydration

Dryness may aggravate hemorrhoids and may cause excessive bleeding. Never use a dry tissue to wipe the affected area as it may cause unwanted scratches that can worsen the swollen vessels. Instead use a non-perfumed, non-medicated wet tissue to wipe off without drying out your skin. You may also place vitamin E capsules in the opening of the anus to sooth the area and re-hydrate it.
*Soaking the area in warm water a few times a day for 10-15 minute periods can reduce inflammation and help relieve symptoms. You may also take a sitz bath and add a half cup of apple cider vinegar.
*Keep the area clean, bathing daily. Don’t use soap on the area as it will likely just cause irritation. *Use moist toilet paper to dab the area after a bowel movement to lessen friction from wiping.
*Apply ice packs or cold compresses to relieve swelling.
